Astrea Snails

From time to time I order snails in bulk quantity. I can pass the savings on to you when combined with a frag shipment. These snails measure about 3/4" and do a good job of cleaning the glass and rocks.  Since they stay relatively small they don't bulldoze things over like larger snails.  This does not qualify for free shipping unless combined with an order of 5 or more frags.

These are shipped on a wet paper towel with no water in the bag.  This is how I receive them and the best way to ship them. They are in a dormant state, so they will appear to be dead, however they are not. Simply float them for 15 minutes and dump them in, you will see them begin to come around. Sometimes it may take up to 48 hours.
